GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The United States Hockey League has announced that the Sioux Falls Stampede has been awarded the 2009 USHL Prospects/All-Star Game. The game will be played on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Sioux Falls Arena. The corresponding banquet will be held the previous night, Tuesday, February 3. The entire event is in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Stampede as a member of the USHL. |

GRAND FORKS, N.D.- With the conclusion of the regular season, the first round match-ups for the 2008 Clark Cup Playoffs have been set. "This is the time of year that everyone looks forward to. It's the reason that all of these people start working so hard in the off-season - to get to the playoffs," said USHL president Gino Gasparini. "The regular season once again was a tight one, with none of the four series decided until the final day. The way the league is right now, with how close and competitive these eight teams are, it should make for a great playoff season." |
